TOJI Pop-Up at JR Kyoto Isetan: Participating in the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group's Sustainability Campaign "think good"

During the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group's sustainability campaign, "think good: Connecting with Today, Continuing to Tomorrow" (Wednesday, April 8 - Sunday, April 12, 2026), we will be opening a pop-up store alongside Well Green Lab within the "Someusagi" booth.

 

 

"think good: Connecting with Today, Continuing to Tomorrow" is an event hosted by JR Kyoto Isetan that introduces environmentally friendly products, experiences, and community-rooted culture. The event will be held over five days at Kyoto Isetan, showcasing the charm of brands and bearers of traditional culture engaged in sustainable initiatives from Kyoto and various other regions through products and experiences. By introducing initiatives that are passed down to the next generation—such as young farmers and successors of long-established companies—the event conveys hints for a sustainable future found within casual, everyday life.

The philosophy promoted by "think good"—emphasizing connections with the local community and creating value that continues into the future—resonates deeply with the manufacturing stance TOJI has always cherished. TOJI has focused on sake lees (sakekasu), deeply rooted in Japan's fermentation culture, and developed products that utilize their beauty and health benefits. While committing to an additive-free formula using only naturally derived ingredients, we engage in careful dialogue with sake breweries and local communities, striving for manufacturing conscious of a sustainable circulation that values the background of the materials, culture, and environmental consideration.

For this pop-up, we will be opening a store in the Well Green Lab area within the "Someusagi" booth, a Japanese experiential select shop opening during the event. The products on sale will center around our signature sake lees bath powders, "HAKU" and "MORI." In Kyoto, a place where traditional Japanese culture and heritage thrive, this will be an opportunity to directly experience TOJI's products and worldview.
